One of the best ways to increase your muscle strength and lean muscle mass is to increase your body’s natural anabolic hormones, such as testosterone and Human Growth Hormone.

These vital hormones make up your “anabolic hormones” and are the main reason that men support more muscle mass and strength than women. While everybody possesses these anabolic hormones, they are concentrated at a much higher ratio in men.

Natural testosterone boosting has been going on for years, with many hardcore bodybuilders actually injecting synthetic testosterone into themself for that added boost. This practice however has many bad side effects and if you are not careful you can inject too much testosterone into your body, signaling your body’s natural testosterone to essentially “shut off.” This is a horrible side effect, and is the main reason a lot of men encounter “man boobs” when cycling off of testosterone and other anabolic hormones. While your testosterone levels typically cycle back to normal levels eventually, this can take up to a year!

When it comes to manipulating hormone levels in your body, it is better to be safe than sorry! If you are looking for an added boost of testosterone, you are much better going for an all-natural TEST booster. For years the supplement market was flooded with supplements that supposedly boost your testosterone levels, but the majority of these products were complete garbage with little to no added testosterone benefit. What the all-natural testosterone market lacked was a clinically proven TEST booster.

A few years ago the D Aspartic acid market exploded when it was concluded and validated by a research study that 3 grams of D aspartic acid for 12 straight days increased the users Testosterone levels by over 40 percent when compared to the placebo group who did not take anything. While this number may vary from person to person, it was concluded that D aspartic acid consumption had a positive effect on testosterone levels. If you want to read more about this research study check it out here. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2774316/

I have supplemented with D Aspartic acid over the last year, and have researched and tested my testosterone levels each time I took it. I am a bit of a research nerd, and I like to test out any new product that comes on the market. I found that each time I took D aspartic acid for a 2 week period my testosterone levels increased, but at varying degrees each time. My testosterone levels went up between 10 and 40 percent each time I took D aspartic acid for 2 straight weeks. This is a pretty noticeable difference, and this improvement in testosterone levels is well worth the price you pay for it. I would take D aspartic acid for 2 straight weeks, then cycle off of it for 3 weeks to let it clear my system.

Overall I was very impressed with the benefits of D aspartic acid. Not only did my testosterone levels improve but I felt like by the 7th day I had more energy and my body was recovering quicker from workouts. This is exactly what added testosterone should be doing! The best side effect of D aspartic acid is that it is a non-essential amino acid and a natural TEST booster, meaning it will not manipulate your hormone levels to the point that you won’t be able to return to your healthy baseline level after cycling off.
